Peacefully at Kingston General Hospital on Wednesday April 26, 2017. Don Nicholls of Newboro, in his 68th year. Beloved husband of Chris Nicholls (nee Ingram). Dear father of John Nicholls of Hamilton, Michael Nicholls of Newboro and Candice (Scott) Whitman of Old Bridge, New Jersey. Dear brother of Joe (Lee-Anne) Nicholls of Barrie, Dave (Vicky) Nicholls of Norwood and Wendy (Mike) Coughlin of Belgrave. Fondly remembered by granddaughter, Freda, nieces and nephews, Danny Nicholls, Sandra Schlorff, Alana (L.J.) Dalton-Montag, David Nicholls Jr., Jamie-Lee (Duncan) Ball as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of the Scotland Funeral Home, 27 Main Street, Elgin on Saturday morning, May 6, 2017 at 11 o'clock. Inurnment St. Mary's Cemetery, Newboro at a later date. A celebratory barbecue will be held at the house after the memorial service to celebrate the life and memory of Don. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (K.G.H. - I.C.U.) or the Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
