Condolences

Condolence From: Matthew Irvine
Condolence: I met Jim through one of my closest mentors and family members, Dave Scotland. Jim was always smiling and we shared many laughs over the years. I will miss his warm smile, sense of humour and his special way of somehow always making me laugh. Jim also supported us with our annual Walk for ALS in Kingston, Ontario. He always made a point of asking me when the walk would be that specific year. I will be there tomorrow to say goodbye buddy. Rest in Peace and much love always. Matt.

Condolence: Jim (Jimmy to us) was a fixture downtown Kingston for many years.
I have known and joked with Jimmy for a long time. He travelled the streets of Kinston well with his 'chair' and his flag flying high. I use to holler out the window of my car "hey you little bugger...SLOW down")which he always enjoyed. Then when he moved to Gore Rd. off hwy. 15, I also saw him often and we would have a quick talk with him carrying a smile...he really enjoyed people and conversation.
He also knew me as a politician (former Reeve of Pittsburgh and Deputy Mayor of Kingston) and liked ribbing me about that.
Jimmy carried a positive influence in our society as just a plain, none pretentious gentleman... and we are all the poorer for losing him.
My heart is heavy with this news and our family passes on our warmest wishes to his family for a future of fond memories that will keep Jimmy in your memories ....

Sincerely, Carl.

Condolence: I never expected the call on Saturday morning let me know you were gone. I have so many loving memeries of you. Like when I was small mom and dad would meet at Alcan so you could take me to the cottage or the time My dad and you would disappear so you guys could dress up as Santa for us kids at Christmas time. There are so many more memories that I cant put in to words. I was so thankful that you were around to see my children Timmy, Denise and William grow up. I will love and miss you but I know you are in good hand with Dad, mom(your sister), with mama and grandpa. And you are with Aunt Katherine(your wife) and Pam. Until we meet again uncle Jim you will always now and forever be in my heart. I love you!!

Condolence: My dearest Uncle Jim. I was so saddened when I got the dreaded phone call Saturday morning that you had passed. I only wish I could have spent more time with you. I have so many fond memories of you from spending time at the cottage, going for boat rides on your pontoon boat, parties that Mom and Dad used to have at the apartment, all the nice cars you used to drive as they were your pride and joy. I will always remember that knock on the apartment door,it was Uncle Jim coming for a visit. You had a heart of gold and would give the shirt off your back for anyone. You are now at peace and are finally reunited with Aunt Katherine,Pam,Mom and the rest of the family. So until we meet again Im sending my love. Fly high with the Angels as you deserve to. Forever in my thoughts Jen

Condolence: One never wants 2 get that call of a loved one's passing. Yet, w/his passing, I now know my precious Uncle Jim has that perfect peace & joy he was ever so deserving of 4 sure!
Whenever I think of him, it is w/so much gratitude of the loving care he gave always 2 my sister, Pam. She KNEW she could count on him 4 anything & that he treasured & loved her w/that humongous heart he had. I can't help but remember (back in the day), how easy going he was & how folks just loved 2 be around him, as he made everyone feel so good & could make U laugh. Sure, he had his setbacks in later years, but we all do. One gr8 character about him was he would do anything 2 help another. Their are few folks in any of our lives, like Uncle Jim that posses these elements of giving joy, are trustworthy & helping another w/o asking anything in return. Having known a man of this caliber brings a gr8 blessing 2 me, w/a lot of pride & joy 2 my heart. Forever & always, I will remember you Uncle Jim as Pam, Aunt Kath & so many others did...a man who cherished life, treasured his friends & adored his family. Whenever I will think of U, it will be w/a loving heart & a warm smile. God Bless U Uncle Jim 4ever & always. Love, Cyndee
